John F. Judge, aged 67, peacefully passed away on March 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. John was the beloved husband of Sheilah E. Judge, and together they celebrated 47 wonderful years of marriage, serving as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Born on July 29, 1956, in Lawrence, MA, John was the son of Richard L. Judge and Rita N. Fitzpatrick. He graduated from Salem High School in 1975 and later embarked on a fulfilling career at Raytheon, where he worked as a potter for 20 years. John was known not only for his craftsmanship but also for his quiet demeanor, gentle nature, and profound love for his family.
John's passions extended beyond his work, as he found joy in camping, hunting, and tending to his home. He had a gift for storytelling and took immense pride in witnessing the growth of his children and grandchildren.
Survived by his devoted wife Sheilah, John will be deeply missed by his children and their families:
Daughter and Son-in-law: Eileen and Joseph Fitzpatrick, and their children: Russell McBurnie, Morgan Rudd, Alex McBurnie, Angela McBurnie, Karaghen Hawks, Jesse Hawks, Aidyn Fitzpatrick, Kolby Fitzpatrick, and Rhyleigh Fitzpatrick.
Son and Daughter-in-law: John F. Judge Jr. and Carolyn Judge, and their children: Jackson Judge and William Judge.
Son and Daughter-in-law: Timothy and Maria Leary, and their children: Emmaree Leary, Irelynn Leary, and Sullivan Leary.
Daughter: Courtney M. Judge
Son and Daughter-in-law: Timothy Griffin-Judge and Sydney Snell, and their children: Kylie Fournier and Zelda Griffin-Judge.
Son and Daughter-in-law: Justin and Alyssa Judge, and their children: Arielle Bouchard and Eileen Louden-Judge.
Daughter: Amber Judge, and her children: Wesley Mattson and Beverly Mattson.
Son: Ryan Griffin-Judge
Daughter: Jaime Judge
Son: James Judge
John also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Gabriella Hawks and Oliver McBurnie, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law: Patrick and Maureen Judge, and Robert and Pamela Judge. He will be fondly remembered by family friends Joshua McBurnie, Kathleen Woodard, and Michael Woodard.
In addition to his immediate family, John was predeceased by his parents Richard and Rita Judge, his brother Richard Judge, and his son Victor Judge.
In accordance with John's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Instead, a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Via Health Partners, OB Builders, and Factory Church, especially to Debbie McDaniels, NP, Debbie King, RN, Mercedes Espinal-Luan, LCSW, John Haltom, and Pastor Bruce Conser, for their unwavering support and care.
